Another skittle set…
This set is on it’s way to Scotland. I try to make each set of my skittle men different to the ones I have made before, and make them reflect their destination or buyer. this one has an extra banding round the centre for a kilt/belt line. I also code each set differently which allows me to remake them if more are needed.
Some re-lists and new listings on Etsy
Some lovely new pieces on Etsy… and a few relists, repriced…
Delivered at TORM last weekend
A pair of rather lovely sand timers…
The one on the left is a 30 minute timer, with spalted beech ends capped with leather, and turned boxwood spindles. The one on the right is a 10 minute timer (with a longer glass profile) and is all oak, with split boxwood hoops for protection. Both frames are examples of ones found on board the Mary Rose.
Following an excellent weekend…
… we would like to thank everyone who came to TORM last weekend, and especially all those who stopped to chat over the three days of the market. Whilst Friday was a little up and down, Saturday was manically busy, and even Sunday had brisk trade. See you all again in March next year – if not before!
